Fracked Gas in Washington: Pre-Show for Climatopian Spectacle

  • Gas Works Park 2101 N North Northlake Way Seattle, WA, 98103 United States (map)

Dr. Margaret Kitchell of WPSR's Climate & Health Task Force will speak at 7:00 PM in Gas Works Park about the threats to health and safety posed by the proposed Kalama Methanol Refinery.

Sierra Club and Puget Soundkeeper are partnering with the Tempest, a ship that tour with a climate change themed cirque du soleil-esque show! The show is preformed from the boat and is an engaging theatrical performance that brings visibility to many of the issues we work on.

The boat will be docked at Gas Works Park in Seattle August 18-25 with shows every night except the 20th. Get your ticket to the Climatopian Spectacle here, but Margaret's talk will be free and open to the public before the event officially begins!
